Mechanical design engineer
We are looking for mechanical design engineer, preferably in mobile devices. You should have strong communication skills, be self motivated and able to work in an English speaking environment with a multinational team. You need to be able to act and communicate in a professional and proactive manner to set customer expectations and resolve issues. This position is full time at our Oulu R&D centre.
Key responsibilities
- Full ownership of product design and product development
- Maintaining product documentation (models, drawings and specifications)
- Preparing, testing and debugging prototypes
Requirements
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and mechanics
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods – machining, stamping, molding and forming
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly and product test processes
- Ability to use 3D solid modeling
- At least 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer
- BSc or relevant degree
