Navicron demonstrates HDMI and Android with its Fusion platform
Navicron started working with mobile Linux platforms as early as 2004. Since then the Linux platform has gained unparalled popularity as its adoption has reached new milestones. With its fusion platform Navicron can address needs in various product segments. Fusion platform can easily be adapted for smart phones, TV boxes and tablets. Today Navicron demonstrated a HDMI connectivity from fusion board and Android operating sysyem. HDMI enables use of large high resolution display together with the device.

Navicron joins WAPS project
Navicron participates WAPS project together with other industry leaders and universities.
“The WAPS project uses WSN-technologies as part of new technologies, products and services. WAPS project develops wireless sensors with infrastructure, connectivity and interfaces, and various applications. A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of several measuring devices (nodes), which autonomously form a communication network. The nodes sense their environment, process and store data, and finally deliver data to servers.”

Navicron demonstrates Android on Fusion
Navicron demonstrates Android running in it's Fusion platform. Navicron’s Fusion platform combined with the Android operating system enables quick development of smart phones and tablets. The user interface is easily adaptable with various skins and themes.
The application hardware is Freescale enabled i.MX53 that is combined with 3G and WLAN wireless connectivity.

Navicron begins porting Google Android
Navicron has begun the porting of Google Android to its fusion platform. This porting will allow Navicron to create devices with android included for a range of categories, from mobile phones through to MID devices and net top PC's.
Navicrons fusion platform currently includes the iMX.31 processor from freescale, with the ability to be upgraded. The platform currently includes features such as 3G, dvb-h tv, usb connectivity, bluetooth, wifi and other capabilities usually found in portable devices.
The fusion platform can be easily transformed into products, allowing faster time to market and better product development. It has already been transformed into several consumer devices, including mobile phones currently in production.
Navicron's competencies include hardware development, driver and software development as well as full product development and production through its partners.
